myOCWellness - The Road Ahead to Wellbeing

myOCWellness covers the eight dimensions of wellness through a points-driven system that keeps wellness at the forefront. Employees and/or spouses earn points throughout the Fiscal Year (October 1, 2019 – September 30, 2020) by completing annual exams and other health-related tasks. Once an employee and/or spouse earns at least 70 points individually, the points convert into a $20 or $40 (for both) reduction toward Cigna medical insurance premiums per pay period. As a result of COVID-19, the period during which points can be earned is January 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

Click on the Points Breakdown tab below to see how you can earn points. You will receive credit for activities you completed since January 1, 2019. If you currently do not have any points, there is no need to worry. You will have the opportunity to earn 70 points virtually. Track your progress on the myCigna app or myCigna.com. 7. Health Coaching* 20 points (max of 2)
8. Wellbeing Activities – Cigna Apps and Activities* 20 points (max of 2)
9. IOA Corporate 5K/Walking Challenges (equivalent) 20 points (max of 1)
10. Disease Management Program 50 points (max of 2)
11. Countywide Wellness Events – Health Summits* 10 points (max of 4)
12. myOCLearn (only available to BOCC employees) - Life Balance Series* 40 points (max of 1)

The intellectual dimension focuses on a person’s creative abilities, as well as expanding knowledge and skills in desired areas.

  • myOCLearn (only available to BOCC employees) – Life Balance Series (40 points)
  • Health Summits (10 points per presentation up to 40 points)
    • The 2020 Health Summit will be done virtually on Friday, June 19, and Friday, July 31
    • The workshop schedule will be the same for both days
    • Employees can choose to attend all workshops on one day, or break it up over both days
    • Supervisor approval is required

    • Personalized nutrition counseling
