Disaster Preparedness

Preparing yourself, your family and your business

Preparing Makes Sense

We must have the tools and plans in place to make it on our own for a period of time no matter where we are whenever disaster strikes. Even first responders and emergency managers have personal plans for their families and we hope you will have a preparedness plan as well.

We have provided a number of resources that you can use to develop your own plans to prepare yourself and your family. See the list of items in the left menu of this page.

Community Planning For Disasters

Just as you prepare yourself and your family, Orange County prepares for, responds to, recovers from, and mitigates against the effects of disasters and emergencies throughout our community.
