Wewahootee Road to John Wycliff Boulevard

Description

Innovation Way Segments 1 and 2 will be constructed from Wewahootee Road to John Wycliff Boulevard as a four-lane divided roadway.

A shared-used path is located on both the north and south side of the roadway. The project will incorporate drainage improvements, lighting, and landscaping along the roadway corridor.

Purpose

Innovation Way Segments 1 and 2 is being constructed as part of Orange County’s plan for a southeast high technology corridor.

Status

Final design began in June 2021, and will be in general accordance with the Roadway Conceptual Analysis completed in 2015. This project will require additional right-of-way for roadway and storm water improvements.

Public Involvement

Newsletters will be distributed at the following three (3) milestones:

  • At the beginning of the design phase.
  • At the start of the right-of-way acquisition process.
  • When the project is advertised for construction.
