The final workshop will build upon discussions from prior sessions, and it will focus on identifying regulatory mechanisms and monetary incentives that support production of affordable housing in select locations. The discussion of regulatory incentives will cover such strategies as inclusive community requirements, mixed-income neighborhoods, density bonuses, linkage fees, community land trusts, and transit-oriented development (TOD) options, among others. The second part of the workshop will provide an opportunity for a roundtable discussion with experts in the field of financial resources for affordable housing.
