Learn about the Safe Neighborhood Program

Overview

The Safe Neighborhood Program helps resident volunteers in nine neighborhoods fight crime and build communities in nine targeted communities. These Safe Neighborhoods were established by Board of County Commissioner vote to provide targeted support and collaboration by Orange County Neighborhood Services Division and Orange County Sheriff's Office.

  2. Lee Road Safe Neighborhood
  3. Pine Castle Safe Communities Preservation Association
  4. Pine Hills Safe Neighborhood Partnership
  5. Orlo Vista United Safe Neighborhood
  6. South Apopka Safe Neighborhood
  7. Tildenville Safe Neighborhood
  8. South Goldenrod Safe Neighborhood
  9. Orange Blossom Trail Safe Neighborhood (Directed by Orange Blossom Trail Development Board)

Non-Profit Safety Grants provide funding to nonprofit organizations with crime prevention programs in areas outside Safe Neighborhood designated boundaries.
