CR 545 (Avalon Road)

Orange County Government has initiated the design for the widening of CR 545 (Avalon Road) from US 192 to Hartzog Road, a length of approximately 1.6 miles.

To improve safety and traffic flow in the area. Adding travel lanes and other features such as, but not limited to, drainage conveyance and treatment improvements, freight accommodations, sidewalk, raised medians, lighting, landscaping and intersection improvements.

The Design phase is anticipated to be completed in spring 2025.

Newsletters will be distributed at the following three (3) milestones:

• At the beginning of the design phase.
• At the start of the right-of-way acquisition process.
• When the project is advertised for construction.
