International Drive Transit Lanes

This site will provide information on the International Drive Transit Lanes Project. The project corridor begins at Destination Parkway and runs north along International Drive to Via Mercado, continues east to Universal Boulevard, then turns north to Sand Lake Road. The project involves creating a transit lane on each side of the project corridor.

Description

Addition of bus transit lanes in each direction for mass transit such as buses and trolleys. These lanes will also serve as right turn lanes for all traffic. The transit corridor begins at Destination Parkway runs north along International Drive and then crosses over to Universal Boulevard at Via Mercado. The corridor then runs north along Universal Boulevard to Sand Lake Road.

Purpose

This project increases capacity and improves the level of service of the International Drive corridor.
