office and commission
on aging

The Office on Aging, located within the Family Services Department, provides staff support to the Commission on Aging. The Commission on Aging identifies Orange County resources dedicated to older adults and works with local, state, and national partners to create an elder-friendly community. By promoting partnerships with organizations, identifying needed programs, and linking services to the citizens, the Commission's goal is to empower older adults to maintain their independence and quality of life within their home community.
